Dream It Forward Foundation created Bloom Residence to solve a problem too many systems avoid: what happens to youth when there is nowhere safe, stable, and permanent to land?
Bloom Residence is a long-term residential home for unhoused and unsupported youth ages 8–25 who have no family placement options. This is not foster care. Youth are not adopted or cycled through placements. They stay until they transition into college housing or independent adulthood, with continued support along the way.
This is where survival turns into stability. And stability turns into self-sufficiency.
The Crisis
Youth homelessness has reached emergency levels:

Too many young people bounce between shelters, unsafe situations, or temporary placements.

Young women, students aging out of systems, and teens of color are disproportionately affected.
Bloom Residence creates what the current system fails to provide:
