About Us
WHO WE ARE
Dream It Forward Foundation is a youth-centered, trauma-informed nonprofit dedicated to helping young people build safe, stable, thriving futures. We support under-represented youth and young adults ages 25 and under, including young women and young parents, who are navigating food insecurity, academic challenges, housing instability, and limited access to economic opportunity.

From meals to mentorship, from tutoring to housing, from skill-building to emotional wellness, we walk alongside every young person who needs support, hope, and a path forward.

Our Story
We envision a world where every young person, regardless of background, income, or circumstance, has access to safety, dignity, opportunity, and the support system needed to break cycles and build a thriving future.

WHO WE SERVE
We serve youth and young adults ages 0–25 who are:
-
Experiencing food insecurity
-
Unhoused or living in unstable housing
-
Struggling academically
-
Aging out of support systems
-
Parenting at a young age
-
Facing emotional, economic, or social barriers

Many of the youth we serve have slipped through the cracks of traditional systems. We step in to close the gaps and create pathways forward.

WHY OUR WORK MATTER
Young people across the country face significant challenges:
-
1 in 5 children in the U.S. experiences food insecurity
-
4.2 million youth face homelessness or housing instability each year
-
Students from low-income families are twice as likely to fall behind academically
-
43% of single young women live below the poverty line
-
Youth without safe housing or support are 3x more likely to be unemployed

Dream It Forward steps in where traditional systems leave gaps. Our programs provide stability today and opportunity tomorrow.
